I have spent most of the last few years on the parts of systems nobody sees: credential rotation, region failover, the 600ms P99 that becomes 10ms once you stop asking a single database in Frankfurt to serve Singapore.

This site is where I write some of that down. Expect notes on backend systems, migrations that had to happen without downtime, and as I finish a Master’s in Data Science, a bit more on the data side.

How this works

Posts are Markdown files in src/content/blog/. Adding one is a matter of dropping in a new file with a title, description and date. Nothing else to wire up.

npm run dev

That is the whole workflow.
